ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
- IT Support relating to issues with the internal systems and network infrastructure.
- Provides consultation to customers regarding their business applications for purposes of growth, consolidation, and more efficient computing platforms
- Participates in strategic based systems analysis as part of the Vann Data Technology Review and vCIO process.
- Recommends specific architecture of business class systems to support the customer’s computing needs. Work closely with the Directory of Technology as part of the project team for planning and executing complex projects involving business system migrations.
- Technical Support services for Microsoft related technologies including but not limited to Windows desktop and server operating systems, Office 365 cloud services, and Microsoft Office, Exchange, Sharepoint, and SQL products.
- Technical services and support for virtualization technologies: VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Citrix
- Technical support of SAN Storage devices and related support infrastructure
- Support disaster recovery solutions, ensure systems are properly configured and are operating effectively for the customer
- Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
- Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills
- Support with project work assignments and implementation of new technologies.
- Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review
- Network documentation, maintenance and consulting services to include network reviews and recommendations for all network infrastructure
- Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
- Pursue opportunities for improving client network infrastructure whenever possible; engage management team to develop strategy and plan for improvements.
- Enter all work as service or project tickets in our ticketing system
- Review IT publications and online materials to remain up-to-date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry.
- Routinely participate in the training/certification programs provided by the company
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.

- 5-10 years of experience as a Senior System Administration or Network Engineer preferred.
- Technical Certifications always a plus
